EOIVC 2023 Applications Are Now Closed
Welcome to the online submission form for the 2023 Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition (EOIVC). All applicants must be at least 16 at the time of the submission and no older than 32 by the conclusion of the competition on January 29, 2023. All submissions, including a $125 entry fee and required documentation, must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EST October 3, 2022 in order to be considered.
All those who advance to the Quarter-final Round will be offered: A travel stipend (up to $150 for domestic travel and up to $300 for international travel) and housing while competing. The EOIVC will also provide all those who advance to the in-person rounds official EOIVC Pianists, unless the competitor wishes to bring their own at their own expense. Please note: The entry fee must be submitted by the deadline via a separate application located at the bottom of the submission form.
Your video submission must adhere to all of the following criteria:
Video and audio must be of high quality.
Each excerpt must be recorded in a single, continuous take.
No titles, fadeouts or video transitions.
Excerpts may be recorded separately, however they must be edited together into a single video.
Applicants may only submit one video.
Applicant must be clearly visible and unobstructed.
Video recording must be made within no more than 12 months of submission.
Video captured via video camera, cell phone or webcam is acceptable.
DVDs and CDs will not be accepted.
Failure to meet any of these criteria may result in disqualification.
